Activio at Allure of the Seas

Sailing weekly from Fort Lauderdale in Florida, Oasis of the Seas will be joined by an identical twin, ALLURE OF THE SEAS.

We are happy to anounce that the Activio Heart Rate Monitoring System is selected for Allure of the Seas after initial success at Oasis of the Seas. 9700-square-foot fitness centers with state-of-the-art cardio, weights, circuit training equipment and group training classes.

MS Allure of the Seas is a cruise ship that will be the sister ship to the world's largest passenger ship, the Oasis of the Seas. She was designed under the name "Project Genesis". She was ordered in February of 2006 and construction officially began at STX Europe in Turku, Finland in February of 2008. She was named in May of 2008 after a contest was held to name her and her sister. The keel of the Allure of the Seas was laid on 2 December 2008. Allure of the Seas is approx. 360 meter (1,181 feet) long, will have a tonnage of 225,000 tons, and will carry around 5,600 passangers.

Allure of the Seas' maiden voyage will be on December 1, 2010.
