Activio has partnered with F&F Partners to launch its Fitness System in Brazil
Activio has partnered with F&F Partners to launch its Fitness System in Brazil at the 11th IHRSA – Fitness Brazil, held 2nd to 4th of September at Transamérica Expo in São Paulo.
Activio has formed an exclusive partnership with F&F Partners to sell its fitness systems in Brazil. Through this agreement F&F Partners will be selling all Activio solutions providing local support to all customers in the country.
Flávio Guimarães, cofounder of F&F Partners said: “We are very happy with the partnership with Activio. I have had involvement with the company since 2006 and they have developed an extremely innovative and unique solution to the Fitness market. The Brazilian fitness market has been growing in a very impressive way in the last years and we are sure that the interest in Activio solutions will be huge. There is nothing similar in the market bringing so many benefits to the gyms, members and instructors. This is a fantastic innovation!”.
Mark Johnson, Activio CEO: “We are strategically taking Activio to new and exciting markets. Brazil represents one of the fastest growing fitness markets in the world with a high degree of focus on innovative solutions to maximize the benefits from training. Brazilian gym members have a very positive attitude towards applying the best possible products to efficiently training in a fun and exciting way. Activio’s heart rate system is the perfect platform for taking a fitness club’s cardio training to the next level”.
For the launch of the first solutions in Brazil, F&F Partners will present with Activio at the 11th IHRSA – Fitness Brazil which will be happening between the 2nd and the 4th of September, in São Paulo at the Transamérica Expo.
Daniel Magnergård, Activio Sales Director, will be present at the fair: “For Activio, the entry in the Brazilian market is an important milestone and a huge challenge. Although the market is growing and becoming more professional, we understand that a lot can be improved in relation to the management of gyms. This is a very fragmented market and also very competitive in relation to costs, but we are rather optimistic that the biggest local gym chains will innovate and will try Activio”.
During the IHRSA – Fitness Brazil, F&F Partners will demonstrate in its stand the Activio Fitness System which is a new and revolutionary real time heart rate monitoring system for group training classes. The system is a highly effective, fun and easy-to-use concept enabling the gym to attract more members to its group training classes through the increase of motivation and results during the training.
The Activio technology is unique in the market because it uses digital wireless technology to monitor several members simultaneously with real time feedback in a LCD TV or Projector Screen in the fitness room. It also stores all the individual heart rate information in a database that can be accessed online by the members or by the instructors for follow-up and training analysis.
The system also offers other benefits on top of the improvement of the training results such as the increase in the members loyalty and an excellent platform for indoor media and marketing campaigns which generates new source of revenues for the gyms. The platform can also be used to increase the interactivity with the members even when they are not training inside the gym.
For the instructors the system offers immediate feedback helping them to adapt the training accordingly to the needs of each member from beginners to advanced, which increases the safety of the classes reducing the risk of accidents.
In the next months F&F Partners will look for gyms interested to test the system. The strategy of the company is to install at least 2 systems until the end of the year so that the market can learn all the possibilities and experiment all the benefits of the solutions.
In a second phase, F&F Partners will launch the Activio Sport System to professional sports clubs. In Europe, Activio already supplies the system to football clubs such as Arsenal, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City, the Swedish National team and several other top clubs in the world.
The system enables trainers and physicians to monitor and define the training load for all the athletes in an individual way based on their cardiovascular performance and in real time. The system stores the training history in a very simple way and can handle up to 80 users at the same time, which no other system in the market can do. It makes the life of the trainers very simple.
Flavio Tavares, F&F Partners Vice-President of Business Development informed: “Our first focus in Brazil will be the Fitness market where we want to introduce Activio to the biggest gym chains in the country. In a second moment, we will increase our focus to the biggest professional sport clubs because we believe that this market will also develop very much with all the eyes turned to the World Cup and Olympic games in the next 4 to 6 years”.
