Activio tillsätter Mark Johnson som ny VD

Det är med glädje som vi meddelar att styrelsen har tillsatt Mark Johnson som ny VD för företaget. Det fullständiga meddelandet finns nedan på engelska:

Dear all,
Activio is very happy to announce that its board of directors has named Mark Johnson to serve as the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
Mark, 37, has been working with the company for the past half year in a consultative capacity to build upon Activio’s business development and overall strategic growth. Mark has an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics and a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy. He brings to Activio several years of experience working in Venture Capital and IT Management Consulting. In addition, he is also an accomplished elite road cyclist, making him uniquely qualified to lead Activio in applying technology to the improvement of consumer’s performance in fitness and in sports.
Activio founder, Daniel Magnergård, has assumed the responsibilities of Sales Director and will lead the company’s expansion into new markets in Europe and beyond. We welcome this addition to Activio’s organization and are enthusiastic about the opportunities it brings.
