Find your maximum heart rate
– get maximum control

To get accurate readings and take active control during heart rate training, you need to find your individual maximum heart rate. The maximum heart rate is the highest number of beats per minute your heart is capable of.

Your individual maximum heart rate is genetically determined and is not influenced by training. It decreases with age, as a rule with one beat per year. If you had an active lifestyle, your maximum heart rate may remain on higher levels.
